Banned Books Month Sept. 24-Oct. 15

It's Banned Books Month! We do it a little differently here in Ishpeming. We liked the idea so much we extended it from a week to almost a month. Stop into the Library to check out a banned or challenged book. Each one is labelled with the reason it was banned or challenged. Is your favorite book one of them?

Here's your chance to make your voice heard! The Teen's Top Ten List is the only reading list with titles nominated and voted on by teens. All votes must be submitted by September 16th, and the results will be announced during Teen Read Week, October 16-22. Make sure your favorite book is on the list!
